Swivel Joints for Aerial Platforms
Aerial Platforms (also known as Boom lifts or Mobile Elevated Platforms) are predominantly either truck mounted or self propelled. Based on machine design, the specifications for the swivel joint used are decided accordingly.
As these machines run at very low speeds(rpm), our swivel joints are designed to have smooth operation at these speeds without jerks or stick slip motion.
An important feature in the swivel joints used for Aerial platforms is incorporation of electric slip rings to transmit signals through the swivel joint.
